Before anyone sends me a bunch of hate mail, please know that this comic is suppose to be lighthearted. The genesis for it actually came the day after Obama won the election while my friend Ray and I were at the supermarket. Someone had placed a bottle of Aunt Jemima's Maple Syrup next to a magazine about Obama and we couldn't figure out if they were trying to be offensive, racist, or point out that just because we elected a black man doesn't mean racism is suddenly a thing of the past. Who knows. In any case, I hope today's comic put a smile on your face and I wish our new president well. Maybe I should send him a copy? |
